JUST FOR KIDS

Where was it ever written that zombie fiction was only for adults? Our children have every right to be as scared of the impending zombie apocalypse as the rest of us. Who are we to deprive them of that? After all, our children are our future and we must prepare them for that inevitability.

But we here at Living Dead Press want to take the responsible approach. While it's important to let them know about zombies, we're doing that in a tactful and entertaining way. Our children's books are fun, informative and without the gore factor. After all, our children will have plenty of opportunities of being grossed out and scared when that event really does happen.

So, until then, why not prepare your child while spending some quality time with our kids books? With our kids books, you can share your greatest love of the zombie concept without fear of scarring your child prematurely. They are tame while keeping the essential concepts intact.

Come on, do your best in raising the next generation of zombie hunters and warriors. These books are just the ticket.

The Zombie in the Basement

by Anthony Giangregorio

Illustrated by Andrew Dawe-Collins

The spooky house at the end of the street was the one all the kids avoided.

With its overgrown shrubs and weeds, the place was a modern day haunted house.
Especially at night.

So when Ricky sneaks into the yard to retrieve his favorite ball, he comes across something he’d only seen in movies and bad dreams.

He sees a zombie in the basement window of the old house, but when he tells his friends, no one believes him.

Ricky knows what he saw, that something lurks in the old house, something that isn’t supposed to exist.

With his best friend Eric by his side, Ricky will find out the truth and prove to everyone that zombies are real.

And when the night is done, everyone will know about the zombie in the basement.

Note: This book is for young adults and for those who are young at heart.
