SUBMISSIONS
Hi guys, thanks for checking in on our open submissions.
We have a bunch of anthologies going at once so take your pick
or send in a story for each. But please follow the guidelines
as to what we're looking for. If you try to fudge it, you wont
get in.
And to you new writers out there. We love you guys. While we
love to get subs from established writers, LDP loves the little
guy so don't feel that we don't want you if you wrote your
first story 'cause that's the farthest thing from the truth.
We are proud to say we are taking in fantastic writers who
have never been published anywhere before and their works are
better than most of the established stuff we get. As time goes
by
LDP will be where the new guy gets a fair shake!!
Night
of the Wolf: A Werewolf Anthology
We want original stories about werewolves. We want action, no slow, plodding
stories. Gore is always welcome, too.

Back
to Night of the Living Dead
Lets get back to basics. Let's forget about Darwin and the
evolution of the Zombie. In this anthology, we're back in 1968
where it all began. While we all love Cooper and Ben, we don't
want stories about them. We want to know what was happening
everwhere else on that fateful night. What were the search
and destroy crews doing? How did they form? What chaos
went on in the studios of those newsrooms of the radio and
TV stations that announced the first awakenings and the ill
conceived advise they gave? We don't need diner stories because
Ben summed it all up in his original back story. However, what
about the drive in theaters where people still watched movies
from their cars back in 1968? What if they were attacked then?
What about the unsuspecting homes invaded by the undead way
back before cable television wasn't invented and there was
only 13 channels on TV?
Think 1968 when it all began. Think 1968 when we were still so innocent about
the horror. Think about the beginning and the fear you first felt when you learned
about zombies. Think about the essence that first grabbed you.
We want stories that adhere to the ORIGINAL rules. We want
pure Zombies. We want pure horror.

End
of Days: An Apocalyptic Anthology---Volume 3
We are looking for original stories about the end of
the world. Famines, floods, meteorites, plagues (no zombies),
viruses that wipe out humanity
and only a few survive.
I think you get the idea.
The stories need to be naturalistic, no ghosts or supernatural.
Just people dealing with their new life and struggling
to survive in a devastated world. And we want
action, no slow, plodding stories. This book will be a fun ride filled with
people struggling to survive a world thrown into chaos.

We are very
hands on with our writers. And though we do stuff by email,
you need to be available by phone, we like to actually
talk to people as we are old school. We feel it conducts
a better working environment among fellow artists.
Canada writer's not so much, hey long distance is expensive!!!
For them email is fine.
On top of these anthos there will be many more down the
pike and we are now branching out to publishing novels.

Hope to hear from you :)
